That done, I shall be watching LOTS of films and Youtube. One of the recent ones was entitle Across the Universe- perfect for any Beatles fan. :) One of the characters named Lucy, is wonderful, and I shall be photospamming you with her. :)

She’s a great activist who fights for what she believes in. A great, strong, independant role model. She also looks amazing.

They wear SUCH rad clothes! (Channeling Rookie Mag: http://rookiemag.com/ )

Okay. onto the Feminism.

Recently, I went to a concert called Chime for Change, co-founded by Beyoncé (Who I ADORE) and I made a video about it, here:

Then there’s the site that allows you to personally help charities, called Catapult, which you should all check out here, although I explain about it in the video more. :) : http://www.catapult.org/

And lastly. Feminism. It rules. Just sayin’.

Oh also, My friend and I are Vlogging Every Day in June, so if you wish to see our faces, go hereeeeee: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheTwoEnglishGirls

Sorry for the weird randomness of this post. But I’m happy. And it’s summer. :)

Some more inspiration…. And a recipe……

This is apparently fromt he film the Ice Storm, but I havent seen it. I like it for the hood, which reminds me of my own tartan Red-Riding Hood. : )

Get ready for some Downton Abbey shots…

Sybil and Branson are my favourite couple and Sybil is AMAZING too!

Loook at them all!!! I mean What!!??!

Anyway….. These images aren’t Downtonified…

I love the Blue dress on the right. And the two black dresses on the bottom. BUT the blue one is the best.

I love the colour of her dress, it’s a great winter/ Autumn colour full of heat.

So, that’s all from me on the Inspiration front, Sorrry for the lack of activity, it’s all been a bit of a whir.

Here is a great Cookies and Cream Brownie Recipe that is incredibly simple.

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease a 20cm/8in square baking tin with butter, then line with baking paper with the paper overlapping the sides a little.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat. When the butter has melted, remove the pan from the heat and add the grated (or chopped) chocolate. Leave to stand for a few minutes, or until the chocolate melts, and then stir together. Alternatively, you can put the chocolate and butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 25-second blasts, stirring well each time.
  3. Whisk the eggs, egg yolks and vanilla together in a large bowl until the eggs begin to get light and fluffy. Add the sugar in two additions, whisking between each. Pour it around the side of the egg mix so as not to knock out the air that has been whisked in. Keep whisking until the mixture becomes stiffer. Once the egg mixture is ready, pour the chocolate into it – again around the sides so as not to knock the air out.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt and a third of the biscuits and stir until fully combined, then pour the mixture into the prepared tin. Scatter the remaining biscuits over the top, pressing them in slightly. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 25–30 minutes. The middle should be very so slightly gooey. Leave the brownies to cool in the tin – the top will sink and crack a little.
  5. Pull the brownies out using the overlapping paper and cut into squares. Dust with icing sugar.

It’s from here: (oh, and there is a video, showing you how delicious it will be…) http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/cookies_and_cream_fudge_48648

    Love Anna-Marie xx

P.S I’m on Holiday! : ) oh and R.I.P Whitney. “I will always love you” (Sorry for the cheese….)

I am IN LOVE with Jane Austen. And recently I stumbled on a brilliant production of Northanger Abbey. Seriously I loved it, and have successfully fallen in love with the main man of the story. Henry Tilney. He is wonderful. : )

So here is some (*cough**cough* a LOT!) of pictures, both of the herione of the story, Catherine Moorland and Henry, plus various acquaintances.

I think out of all the dresses worn in the film, this is my favourite.

 Mr Tilney. *sigh……*

“Brown paper packages tied up in strings”

 How cute?!?

 Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Just so you are aware, the film (Northanger Abbey 2007) is not completely true to the book. But it’s still pretty good…

My exams are underway and I will be finished by friday next week, so I v=basically just have to survive up until that point. Wish me luck!

So, I thought, as I haven’t done one in aaaggggeeesss I’d do a round up of inspirational outfits, and things I’ve collected, over time, that have a link to Autumn.

I love the striped shirt, I’ve had my eye out for one for ages…. No luck as of this far.

How lovely is this cape? I have a new one myself. It’s Tartan, and I bought it last weekend. Tadaaaa!

What do you think? I, personally am COMPLETELY in love!!

This is from a lovely new shop called ANN-YA, check it out here.

This outfit is the best of the bunch, I am just utterly in love with it ALL. And the poses are sweet, it comes froma regular haunt of mine. Sadie’s Wardrobe. There is a slightly Francoise Hardy esq. vibe and a nineteen sixties feel to it as well. I wish I had that outfit….. It’s fabulous.

I’ve been eyeing this dress for weeks, it was on silentsundays.com but has now sold out : ( I can still lust after it though… : )

Again, something I’ve wanted for ages. I love the 1940’s sailor look. This one is, I think, from a love blog called D is For Dangerous, click HERE!

Well, that’s about it! Have lovely weeks and I hope that you eat lots of cake.
